NAHN, Milwaukee Chapter
Sylvia Pena is an Assistant Professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. She graduated with her BSN in 2017 from Marquette University and returned to Marquette to obtain her PhD in Nursing and will graduate this May. Sylvia has worked at Children’s Wisconsin on the infant/respiratory unit and at the City of Milwaukee Health Department’s Covid-19 hotline. Additionally, throughout her time as a PhD student, she has been a research assistant with Marquette for the last three years.
