We are excited and honored to announce a new exciting partnership between the National Black Nurses Association and the Alzheimer’s Association. Our goal is to increase the representation of African Americans in dementia clinical trials.

 

The National Black Nurses Association’s mission is “to serve as the voice for Black nurses and diverse populations ensuring equal access to professional development, promoting educational opportunities and improving health.”

NBNA represents 308,000 African American registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, nursing students and retired nurses from the USA, Eastern Caribbean and Africa, with 114 chartered chapters, in 34 states.
