NAHN, Los Angeles Chapter
Lizett Leandro, MSN, ANP-C, is currently working at the capacity of Director of Clinical Operations & Quality for a non-profit senior living organization. She has been in long-term care for over 15 years. She started her nursing journey as a CNA in a nursing home, which instilled the passion of Geriatric nursing care. One of her favorite things to do in her role is to conduct clinical training in her organization to address behavioral expressions management in Alzheimer’s Disease to increase quality of life and person-centered care. Lizett has been a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN)- Los Angeles Chapter since 2013. She has collaborated with her NAHN colleagues on various community health programs. She is inspired by her NAHN colleagues to keep growing as a health advocate in the Latinx community.
