Katherine Brown, MPH was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Oakland, California. She has received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies Field Major, with an emphasis on Health and Illnesses in Industrialized Societies. She went on to receive a Masters in Public Health from San Francisco State University in 2006. Katherine has worked for the City of Berkeley Public Health Division since 2000 and is currently the Director of the South Berkeley Senior Center
